Seahorses are experts at camouflage, which makes figuring out how many species there are difficult. Despite their beauty and popularity, there are still many left to be discovered. 14 species have been discovered in the past 8 years, including Pontoh’s pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus pontohi), shown here.
